Yes. Firstly, alerts need to be confirmed.
If an alerts is not confirmed within a configurable ‘target response time’, it can be escalated automatically. Two options are available and can be configured for each team through the Settings' menu':
1. Escalation to a ‘manager on duty’. Each team member can set his or her status to ‘manager’ by a double-tap on the profile picture on the app’s dashboard (or the specific team tile). You can watch a video here:
2. Escalation to another team. For each team, you can define a global escalation target for missed alerts, i.e. alerts that have exceeded their target response time.

UPDATE:
Since the new Release of our Software from June 2023 we have increased the number of possible escalation tiers from 3 up to 6.
