How can I prevent all users from going 'off duty'?

There is are two features to consider when enforcing duty status and keeping your on-duty team staffed. Both can be set from within Shift & Duty in your team at https://account.signl4.com/manage/ 

First, if you want to prevent people from automatically going 'off duty' when a shift ends, disable the Handover Assistant. This prevents the auto-off-duty when shift handover is happening. 

More importantly, you can enforce to have a minimum number of team members 'on duty'.

Simply, set the value of 'Minimum peers on duty' to 1. This prevents the last person from accidentially punching out. Only if another person goes 'on duty', punch out is then possible. So, settings this value to 1 or higher always keeps someone 'on duty'.

You can set the value to a number greater than 1 to keep more team members on duty, if needed.
