The Signl centre displays the delivery status for each single alert message sent to users. A signl alert usually consists of multiple alert messages, depending on the number of users to be reached as well as their configured notification channels.
The following message status information are displayed when SIGNL4 attempts to reach the user:
Push Messages
Failed – Internal error, maybe an error connecting to push service gateway
Rejected – No valid push address could be found for this device. User should re-login with the mobile app.
Delayed – Notification channel is configured to delay message
Abuse protected - Too many messages
In Progress – Message is being transmitted to the push service gateway
Transmitted – Message was successfully transmitted to the push service gateway and is being delivered to the mobile device. If this status persists, the phone might be switched off or in flight mode
Flood Protected – Message was not sent as flood protection is active
Delivered – Message was delivered to the mobile device
SMS Text Messages
Failed – Internal error, maybe an error connecting to text service gateway
Rejected – Phone number is invalid or the sender number is blocked
Delayed – Notification channel is configured to delay message
Abuse protected - Too many messages
In Progress – Message is being transmitted to the text service gateway
Transmitted – Message was successfully transmitted to the text service gateway and is being delivered to the mobile device. If this status persists, the phone might be switched off or in flight mode
Flood Protected – Message was not sent as flood protection is active
Delivered – Message was delivered to the mobile device
Voice Calls
Failed – Internal error, maybe an error connecting to voice service gateway
Rejected – Phone is invalid, calling number is blocked, call was declined or the phone was switched off
Delayed – Notification channel is configured to delay voice call
Abuse protected - Too many calls
In Progress – Call request is being transmitted to the voice service gateway
Transmitted – Call request was successfully transmitted to the voice service gateway and the phone is being called
Flood Protected – Call was not initiated as flood protection is active
Delivered – Call was accepted/picked up
On user-level the following delivery information can be shown:
- No notification profiles – all communication channels have been disabled by the user in the mobile app
- Not on duty – user was not on duty at the time of the signl alert
- Category hidden – user had opted out from services&systems category of this signl alert
- Category muted – user had services&systems category of this signl alert muted
