How to create a Custom API key.

Signl4 allows users to create a custom API key for integrations.  The Custom API keys can be created in the Signl4 web portal. 

1. Log into Click on the Integrations menu option and click on API Kes to create the API key
2. Press the + button to create a new API key
   
3. Enter a Name and duration in the popdown section, the name can be anything we recommend you name the API something that is easily recognizable, the duration can be set anywhere from 1 month to unlimited and this is the time the API key will be usable once this duration passes this key will no longer be usable and a new one will have to be created, the full access toggle is the ability for this API key to have complete access to Signl4.  If this is on then the API can be used for anything from receiving events to login users in and out, if this is off then the API will only be able to receive events it will not be able to change anything in the backend. 
   
4. Once this API key is created and you click on the Create button you will receive another popup with the API key itself, this key will only show up this one time on this one screen, make sure you make a note of it so you can input this where needed.
