This article explains how to add or manage prepaid funds for SMS and voice call notifications in SIGNL4. This functionality applies only to the SIGNL4 Starter Plan (Free Starter Plan), where SMS and voice alerts are available on a pay-per-use basis.

Prerequisites

Step-by-step: Add money to the wallet (manual top-up)
- Log in to the SIGNL4 web portal.
- Open Billing from the main menu.
- Scroll to “Prepaid settings for voice calls and text messages” and select Edit.
- Choose a Top-Up Amount (for example, $10, $25, or $250).
- Click Add Funds to immediately fund the wallet.
- Confirm the transaction. The new balance will appear in the same section.
Step-by-step: Enable Auto Top-Off (optional)
Use Auto Top-Off to automatically replenish the wallet when the balance reaches a threshold.
- In Billing → Prepaid settings for voice calls and text messages → Edit, toggle Auto Top-Off to On.
- Set the Auto Top-Off Amount ($10, $25, or $250).
- Set the Threshold (the balance level that triggers the refill, for example $5).
- Save your changes. When the wallet balance drops to the threshold, SIGNL4 will automatically apply the selected amount.
